half moon in manual

To defend my lack of studying, I’ve been coming up with some jewellery designs over the weekend to make me feel more ‘productive’. Though I didn’t come up with an abundance of designs, it gave me an awesome opportunity to continue practicing  shooting in manual mode on my camera.

I’ve learned that you’re able to live-view what you’re shooting through a screen on your DSLR, use it! It makes adjusting ISO and aperture way easier as you can see the effects live, training you to figure out what you need to change when capturing an image. I didn’t use my screen for these shots (I hadn’t thought to until the next day), hence the half blurry moon in the last shot 😉

I hope you all had a happy and safe halloween!
Much love + God bless,
