Outfits of the Month- June

Throughout June my life was jam packed with schoolwork, but at the same time each week presented me with an opportunity to celebrate and spend quality time with friends.

4 weeks. 4 parties. 3 outfits + this one.

Let me know if you guys would like to see more fashion related videos or more of anything else!

Much love,

Summer Trends of 2014

Ahhhh the summer time. For most, that means vacations, beach time, and finally getting to take off layers of clothing.

In Singapore, where its 25-30° C on a regular basis during ‘winter’, summer means more humidity, more heat, and more hoes wearing even less clothing. #croppedcroptops

And more sweat.

which you can see in the video.

In all seriousness I hope you’re all having a fantastic summer (or winter, which I’m currently experiencing in New Zealand- my first winter in two years!) and you’re enjoying life in every aspect!

Much love,

Birthday Outfits

Hey guys, long time no talk!

My friend’s birthday is coming up, so to celebrate my friends and I went out for a classy pizza dinner and a totally un-fancy sleepover. Here’s what we wore that night:

Sorry I haven’t posted for a bit, I’ve been busy finishing up assessments and putting off assessments and spending time with friends 🙂

I hope you’re all pumped for summer/ enjoying the cold (after two years in Singapore, I would kill for weather below 20°… or even just seasons!)

Much love,

MAY FAVS

you know the drill.

I hope you’ve all been well and had a fantastic May! Mine was filled with growth and journey and I can’t wait to see what June will bring (though I’m simultaneously very sad that we’re pretty much half way into the year and my childhood is continuously coming to an end).

Hope you’re all pumped for the holidays!

Much love,

GRWM: Mother’s Day!

Mother’s Day was the other day.

Here’s how I got ready.

I spent my Sunday with mum and dad; we went to church then popped over to Jamie’s Italian for an amazingly delicious lunch.

I hope you had a good weekend spent with family/friends/quality alone time and if you’d like to see more GWRMs/OOTDs, let me know!

Much love,

-Fush

April Favourites!

I’ve never been the type of person to “obsess over things”. When I was younger, I never understood why girls dove so deep into fads or how they could become so invested in such simple things.

turns out i’ve become that person.

December/2013 Favourites!

The last favs video of 2013, uploaded on the last day of 2013.

Aaand as promised, here are some additional faves ^^

Oh my, who knew a warmer screen could improve your life so much! This nifty *free* app thingy adjusts your
computer screen so that when the sun sets in the country you’re in, you’re screen has a warm orange-y tint. At first it’s a bit strange, but you’ll soon realise how much stress and strain on your eyes is relieved during your late night interweb adventures. It doesn’t sound amazing, but just try it and your life will be a little bit better. Trust me.

There isn’t much else I’ve been loving around the web, except for a few imgur posts (here and here), including this 2013-made classic.

I hope you’ve all had a fantabulous 2013, and if not, we’re in 2014 now. Everything that’s happened this past year is behind us. Apologise to who you need to apologise to, forgive who you need to forgive- even if it’s yourself- and start doing what you know in your heart you should be doing.

wow so deep

Here’s to another adventure!

Much love & God bless,

November Favourites

Another month, another load of favourites. Leggo.

AAAAnd here are some extra faves!

First is Laure de Sagazan’s 2014 collection of wedding dresses. Not only are the dresses stunning, but the photography is breathtaking. It’s so easy to lose your self in the warm, breezy, elegance; with a touch of indie.

Next is blogger Kinsey Mhire’s collection of photos titled silhouettes. These photos seem to perfectly capture a moment in time, frozen in such a perfected imperfect way. shiverrrssss

Diving back into the world of fashion, I present to you Confezioni Crosby’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection. The clothing has a stunningly effortless quality to it- simple but with great shape and detail. These shots were taken in Rome, evident in their rural, rustic quality. Fun, playful, but still stunning, this collection is a great source of inspiration for future lookbooks!

Ahhhh Passion Pit. Not only is this song catchy, but the music video has been done sooo well- edited, acted and subtitled 😉
Just watch.

Finally, I thought this post from Imgur was tres cute and I loled.

I enjoy this gif too.

Happy December!

Much love,

On The Go

As a young teenager growing up in this impatient first-world society we have, I find myself falling into the hands of procrastination every. single. day.
But it’s not like my responsibilities in this world procrastinate with me, oh hell no. I have to actually emerge from my fish cave (my room) and be seen in public… and here comes the conflict.

As a lover of fashion and the owner of way too many clothes, I want to exploit my artisticness through what I wear.
As a teenage girl, what I wear affects how confident I am.
As a homosapien, what I wear affects how comfortable I am.
But when I’m in a rush, I have zero time to think about any of this!

So what do we do? It’s quite simple really:
Be prepared. Have some go to outfits stored in the back of your mind for different occasions!

These outfits don’t have to be as specific as “orange cat sweater and blue plaid pants”, but could instead a basic frame featuring styles you love (that you have in your wardrobe, of course), for example, “graphic sweater with patterned pants”.
And you don’t have to have a back up outfit for every single occasion possible. I found I had only five occasions that were worth while “preparing for”: a day out shopping/ hanging with friends, running an errand, going to the movies/ somewhere colder, sick days and going to a party. I don’t have go to outfits for formal events as usually I would spend at least an hour getting ready for a formal occasion 🙂

And so, here are my go to outfits!
