Step 1: Survive the global apocalypse of the planet Earth
Step 2: Find a zombie (that shouldn’t be difficult)
Step 3: Get bitten by said zombie
Note: if living in the pre-apocalyptic era, simply follow this tutorial for similar results- minus the living-dead part.
It’s amazing that after countless civil wars and even two world wars, the black and white photos of dirty men, homeless children and strewn bodies unrecognisable from other weapon debris that we associate with war can still be seen in living, breathing colour today.
For some reason I brought my sketchbook and fineliners to church on Sunday, but not my house keys.
So, I spent service and the half hour I was locked out of my house (fortunately my ancient apartment complex has a restaurant- that sells coconuts!) inking up this thang.
This song has shared many moments with me this past week.
Moments of pure joy through the sheer vulnerability of the track; moments of anger released through the passion you can hear in each line; moments of feeling as if I’m in a music video and mouth the lyrics like theres some camera following me like whodoithinkiam; moments of sadness recalling each heartbreaking moment of The Fault In Our Stars (Ansel, Shailene, WHY).
Throughout June my life was jam packed with schoolwork, but at the same time each week presented me with an opportunity to celebrate and spend quality time with friends.
4 weeks. 4 parties. 3 outfits + this one.
Let me know if you guys would like to see more fashion related videos or more of anything else!
Ahhhh the summer time. For most, that means vacations, beach time, and finally getting to take off layers of clothing.
In Singapore, where its 25-30° C on a regular basis during ‘winter’, summer means more humidity, more heat, and more hoes wearing even less clothing. #croppedcroptops
And more sweat.
which you can see in the video.
In all seriousness I hope you’re all having a fantastic summer (or winter, which I’m currently experiencing in New Zealand- my first winter in two years!) and you’re enjoying life in every aspect!
Not only can Kinsey perfectly capture moments with people, but she sure as hell has a knack for landscapes.
How she creates such ‘flat’ looking black and white shots while still maintaining a high contrast is beyond me.
Check out the rest of her shots here.
[All shots stolen from Sincerely, Kinsey.]
(+ she also makes awesome DIYs!)
you know the drill.
I hope you’ve all been well and had a fantastic May! Mine was filled with growth and journey and I can’t wait to see what June will bring (though I’m simultaneously very sad that we’re pretty much half way into the year and my childhood is continuously coming to an end).
Hope you’re all pumped for the holidays!
The last favs video of 2013, uploaded on the last day of 2013.
Aaand as promised, here are some additional faves ^^
Oh my, who knew a warmer screen could improve your life so much! This nifty *free* app thingy adjusts your
computer screen so that when the sun sets in the country you’re in, you’re screen has a warm orange-y tint. At first it’s a bit strange, but you’ll soon realise how much stress and strain on your eyes is relieved during your late night interweb adventures. It doesn’t sound amazing, but just try it and your life will be a little bit better. Trust me.
There isn’t much else I’ve been loving around the web, except for a few imgur posts (here and here), including this 2013-made classic.
I hope you’ve all had a fantabulous 2013, and if not, we’re in 2014 now. Everything that’s happened this past year is behind us. Apologise to who you need to apologise to, forgive who you need to forgive- even if it’s yourself- and start doing what you know in your heart you should be doing.
wow so deep
Here’s to another adventure!
Much love & God bless,
Another month, another load of favourites. Leggo.
AAAAnd here are some extra faves!
First is Laure de Sagazan’s 2014 collection of wedding dresses. Not only are the dresses stunning, but the photography is breathtaking. It’s so easy to lose your self in the warm, breezy, elegance; with a touch of indie.
Next is blogger Kinsey Mhire’s collection of photos titled silhouettes. These photos seem to perfectly capture a moment in time, frozen in such a perfected imperfect way. shiverrrssss
Diving back into the world of fashion, I present to you Confezioni Crosby’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection. The clothing has a stunningly effortless quality to it- simple but with great shape and detail. These shots were taken in Rome, evident in their rural, rustic quality. Fun, playful, but still stunning, this collection is a great source of inspiration for future lookbooks!
Ahhhh Passion Pit. Not only is this song catchy, but the music video has been done sooo well- edited, acted and subtitled 😉
Finally, I thought this post from Imgur was tres cute and I loled.
I enjoy this gif too.
