Outfits of the Month- June

Throughout June my life was jam packed with schoolwork, but at the same time each week presented me with an opportunity to celebrate and spend quality time with friends.

4 weeks. 4 parties. 3 outfits + this one.

Let me know if you guys would like to see more fashion related videos or more of anything else!

Much love,

Don’t Stop

While staying at my friend Ameya’s place in Melbourne for a few days, we have collectively developed an unhealthy obsession with the band 5 Seconds of Summer.

Just last week I assumed they were just another boyband famous for having nice faces and singing love songs, but I have now realised they are a group of young, amazingly talented, funny, asdfgjshdheks, cool people.

who have nice faces and sing love songs.

Checkout our one take cover of their song Don’t Stop!

A new video will be up soon!

Much love,

Summer Trends of 2014

Ahhhh the summer time. For most, that means vacations, beach time, and finally getting to take off layers of clothing.

In Singapore, where its 25-30° C on a regular basis during ‘winter’, summer means more humidity, more heat, and more hoes wearing even less clothing. #croppedcroptops

And more sweat.

which you can see in the video.

In all seriousness I hope you’re all having a fantastic summer (or winter, which I’m currently experiencing in New Zealand- my first winter in two years!) and you’re enjoying life in every aspect!

Much love,

Birthday Outfits

Hey guys, long time no talk!

My friend’s birthday is coming up, so to celebrate my friends and I went out for a classy pizza dinner and a totally un-fancy sleepover. Here’s what we wore that night:

Sorry I haven’t posted for a bit, I’ve been busy finishing up assessments and putting off assessments and spending time with friends 🙂

I hope you’re all pumped for summer/ enjoying the cold (after two years in Singapore, I would kill for weather below 20°… or even just seasons!)

Much love,

“Glacier Point”

Not only can Kinsey perfectly capture moments with people, but she sure as hell has a knack for landscapes.

How she creates such ‘flat’ looking black and white shots while still maintaining a high contrast is beyond me.

Check out the rest of her shots here.
(+ she also makes awesome DIYs!)

you know the drill.

I hope you’ve all been well and had a fantastic May! Mine was filled with growth and journey and I can’t wait to see what June will bring (though I’m simultaneously very sad that we’re pretty much half way into the year and my childhood is continuously coming to an end).

Hope you’re all pumped for the holidays!

Much love,

Smudgeless Make Up

Okay. I have complained about the weather in Singapore a gazillion times.

and I’m goin’ do it again.

For the first half of this year I’ve been coming home to see that my make up has melted off my face. I’ve been experimenting by switching out products but nothing has kept my skin calm and make up on.

Until I read this post by TheBeautyDepartment. I absolutely depend on TBD for easy, professional beauty tips, and this one has pretty much saved my life.

Set your powder, pressed or loose (I use pressed), with a flat foundation brush. This keeps my mascara from dripping, eyeliner from smudging and face from dropping off. (25+ degrees on a daily basis!)
